| hmmm t-tar is a failure on any team unless its a rock team and you are mixing alot of special moves and physical moves try to keep it either physicall or special and the ninjask lead is alright but needs some improvment. And for all the ppl that read this and think how is t-tar a fail? its because he creates that stupid sandstorm and then its gonna take away health from your entire team which is not good and if your ninjask comes in after the t tar then that guy is gonna have major problems (ninjask) for exaple when your subbing up to get your speed boost your health goes down and then you get hit by sandstorm also.. not good I know when I sub my ninjask down as far as his health allows he only has 2 hp left so he would die if I was in a sandstorm.... just somthing to think about..... | |

| Thanks for the input Bug. I might give ninjask leftovers instead now, that will couter the sandstorm or replenish some health. BTW I like to save ttar for last (or second to last with Metagross) because the rest of my team will usally wipe out an opposing team's Phy. Swp. Although I might use a scizor now instead of Jynx, or maybe someone with stealth rock . . . dont want to give too much away. . . | |

| Ninjask: Jolly > Impish, 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP. No need for King's Rock - if anything use Leftovers or a +Stat Berry and modify your EVs such that HP @ Lv. 100 %4 == 0.
Metagross: You'll have a little trouble against Skarmory, Bronzong, and Gyarados with Meteor Mash/Earthquake, so instead of Hammer Arm, I suggest Thunderpunch. Besides, You have Agility...
Sceptile: Lose the Razor Claw, put in Life Orb. This set is oriented oddly enough ~ The best Physical walls are usually steel and you won't be needing Leaf Storm against them (Leaf Blade would do against Hippowdon and the likes, regardless). I suggest Focus Blast over Leaf Blade then, to take care of the steel-types that tend to have high Defence but lower SDef (i.e. Steelix, Forretress). I'd go 252 Atk / 80 SAtk / 176 Spd on a +Spd - Def/Sdef Nature.
Gengar: 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP I assume, I'd put Explosion or Hidden Power Ice in that last slot. Focus Blast and Shadow Ball are base 120 and hit all Pokémon for at least neutral damage, bolt-beam (HP Ice instead of Ice Beam since Gengar doesn't have that in his movepool) to deal with Dragons/Gliscor and Bulky Waters makes it hard for most Pokémon to be coming in on Gengar. Explosion if HP Ice is difficult to obtain, since it'll provide a mode of severe damage against Special Walls like Blissey and Snorlax, which are hard to dent with even Focus Blast. Expert Belt isn't bad, bu Life Orb would be great too.
And I don't want to bother on the rest, really. Fixing movesets is skippin the main point of putting together a team with Pokémon that help each other and whatnot. In my opinion, putting Ninjask on a team means you're putting another Pokémon on there that needs the speed boost, like Rhyperior, who is also resistant to Rock, Fire, and Flying by which Ninjask is weak and vulnerable to. Tyranitar would initially seem like a nice choice but his Sand Stream could be annoying and could interfere with Ninjask's Substitutes and +Stat Berry plans. But then again, if you want to maximize Rhyperior's potential, you'd want a sandstorm going anyway. Plus, Rhyperior could learn Rock Polish and Ninjask's Speed Boost would more a waste of a Pokémon especially with Stealth Rock thrown around so frequently nowadays. So in my opinion, take Ninjask off the team and start work on another Pokémon, say Sceptile.
Sceptile works best as a Subseeder, in my opinion, because of his awesome speed. Sceptile also has some offensive capability to pull off against those faster than him, remaining safe in his substitute from attack after (that is, if you can get up the substitute). And against walls, Sceptile easily wins with the Leech Seed. So try something like this as your lead:
Sceptile @ Leftovers [Overgrow] Timid: 216 HP / 40 SAtk / 252 Speed - Substitute - Leech Seed - Leaf Storm - HP Bug
If you can't get HP Bug, you could go instead for a Jolly build with 40 Atk and Leaf Blade in place of Leaf Storm. Leaf Storm provides better power, and if you ever get to the spot where Overgrow activates, its devastating. HP Bug against the other grass types that are immune to Leech Seed ~ it also really helps against Celebi and typically surprises the opponent since HP Fire is expected more often (to fend off the likes of Skarmory and other Steels).
Tentacruel complements Sceptile fairly well, since the likes of Scarfcross could threaten Sceptile's existence, Grass/Bug being ineffective. They work well together, ignoring Heracross, with Tentacruel's resistance to Bug, Ice, and Fire; Sceptile's resistance to Electric and Ground. Try
Tentacruel @ Black Sludge [Liquid Ooze] Calm: 252 HP / 120 SAtk / 136 SDef - Rapid Spin - Hydro Pump - HP Electric - Ice Beam
Tentacruel isn't really all too stellar, but Rapid Spinners are always helpful because they give you the confidence to use Flying-type Pokémon; most are top-tier offensively powerful especially with the absence of Stealth Rock draining their HP on switch-ins. Tentacruel's SpDef is also pretty recognizable, but he can't heal well... doesn't make the best wall, but takes Ice Beams and Surfs like a man (and hits back decent with his bolt-beam & STAB base 120 Hydro Pump). Tentacruel is also one of the better Rapid Spinners because of his water-typing, which scares off the majority of Stealth Rockers (usually rock/ground, but players are using psychic/steel a little more frequently now) like Rhyperior, Donphan, Swampert and Hippowdon.
Okay, so now you probably want to put some Flying-types because Earthquake just so happens to be one of the most commonly used attacks (and for good reason). Salamence or Gyarados are pretty awesome, I would probably choose Salamence with Tentacruel's resistance to Ice. Salamence is usually threatened by Steels and bulky waters/grass-types anyway, all of which Sceptile could hopefully deal with. Its really your decision ~ you could use Zapdos so you won't have to worry about Togekiss and Staraptor raping your Sceptile instead too. If you do, you'll want to include possibly Swampert or Scizor to protect yourself from Tyranitar - Scizor is actually preferred because his steel-typing gives you something to come in on a Salamence Outrage.
I'm not going to make your whole entire team for you ~ I suggest you select 6 Pokémon first, each of which can complement each other in some way, before working on the movesets. You kind of have to work on what you plan to have your Pokémon learn and use, since that is part of the team-making process... (Defense in typing and Offense in movepool, not necessarily moveset*).
Good luck~! | |

| Thanks for all the valueable input, especialy Thomas, I have made some adjustments, and here is the new team I came up with:
Aerodactyl @ Expert Belt (Suicidal Lead)
Earthquake Stone Edge Thunder Fang Iron Tail
Gengar @ Choice Specs (Spec Sweeper)
Explosion Thunderbolt Shaddow Ball Focus Blast
Blaziken @ Focus Sash (Phys Sweeper)
Blaze Kick Superpower Thunder Punch Swords Dance
Tyranitar @ Leftovers (Phys Sweeper & Sp Wall)
Aqua Tail Earthquake Stone Edge Crunch
Skarmory @ (no item) (Phys Wall)
Curse Drill Peck Roar Stealth Rock
Metagross @ Leftovers (Last Resort Atk)
Agility Meteor Mash Earthquake Thunder Punch
Keep in mind that IV's, Natures, and EV's are set to compliment Each pokemon, its just too much work to write them all down.
The idea for this team is for Aerodactyl to do as much damage as he can before he dies. I choose Blaziken or Gengar to clean up the trash and switch between them if there is nothing they can do. I preferably choose to keep Gengar alive for later, if I can, because of his speed (late game quick kills). I now move to the other part of my stratedgy, I send in Tyranitar and wreck havoc on my enemies switching to Skarmory and Metagross (both sandstorm resistant) if he gets put in a corner. I usually try and get Skarmory in earlier though so she can set up her Stealth Rock, then I pull her back out.
If you think there is anything I should change, add, or remove, let me know. Thanks to everyone that has helped!

| seeing as how i noticed the Blaziken, i'll rate the team - varment4444 wrote:
- Aerodactyl @ Expert Belt (Suicidal Lead)
Earthquake Stone Edge Thunder Fang Iron Tail if you want the Suicidal Lead, you might as well get some Stealth Rocks up, and give it a Focus Sash, i'd take off Iron Tail for Stealth Rocks - varment4444 wrote:
- Gengar @ Choice Specs (Spec Sweeper)
Explosion Thunderbolt Shaddow Ball Focus Blast Explosion with a Choice Specs? this means your gonna need to switch it in when it's extreamly low on HP...and hope you outspeed whoever your up against...I'd slap on another Special Move like Hidden Power(Fire) or Energy Ball or something - varment4444 wrote:
- Blaziken @ Focus Sash (Phys Sweeper)
Blaze Kick Superpower Thunder Punch Swords Dance ehh...i don't really like Physical Blazikens...but if your gonna run one give it Agility and Sky Upper Cut instead of Swords Dance and Super Power, maybe make the Item a Live Orb too, in my experience, Sweeper Blazikens can take a hit or two, if used correctly - varment4444 wrote:
- Tyranitar @ Leftovers (Phys Sweeper & Sp Wall)
Aqua Tail Earthquake Stone Edge Crunch i'd make it bulky in both Defences, slap a Choice Band on it, and call it a Physical Tank, move set is ok though - varment4444 wrote:
- Skarmory @ (no item) (Phys Wall)
Curse Drill Peck Roar Stealth Rock because i suggested Stealth Rocks for Areo, i'd switch them up for Spikes, give it some Leftovers, and probably could switch Curse for Roost, his Physically Bulkiness is good enough, but it needs to be able to Recover HP - varment4444 wrote:
- Metagross @ Leftovers (Last Resort Atk)
Agility Meteor Mash Earthquake Thunder Punch sounds good and standard, lol that's what i'd change, like it or ignore it, your call Monkey

| For Aerodactyl, I would suggest Stealth Rock over Iron Tail and Focus Sash over Expert Belt. With that set up, you'll be able to lay down your rocks and wreak whatever havoc you wish. I don't like Aerodactyl in general because he isn't really suicide (his attack stat is rather lacking compared to powerhouses, but decently par). I would consider Rock Slide over Stone Edge for the possibility of carrying on a flinch, but its your preference ~ Aerodactyl is fast enough to use flinching to his advantage anyway.
Gengar is fine, with his versatility I really suggest Life Orb though.
I wouldn't put Focus Sash on Blaziken simply because it should be used sparingly, especially when you aren't using it for a lead. With Stealth Rocks lying around so frequently first, but since you also have Tyranitar on your team you don't want to risk having to die from the Sand storm. Lastly, Infernape could do better than Blaziken if he had the same exact moveset, but I would suggest Flare Blitz over Blaze Kick, Close Combat over Superpower.
Use Choice Band on Tyranitar.
Replace Skarmory with Zapdos, or at least something that can take care of water-types. HP Grass > HP Ice for Swampert, Hippowdon, other ground-rock combos that destroy Tyranitar, Metagross, Aerodactyl... Plus, Zapdos has a immunity to ground that kils Tyranitar and Metagross.
Use Celebi over Blaziken because you really have a terrible weakness to water and ground already... make your own set really.
That should do, re-type it up with movesets and all. You might have a weakness to ice, but Tyranitar has uber SDef and Metagross has Meteor Mash for ice, Thunderpunch for Water. We'll see how it works out, or we might have to ditch Aerodactyl because you need firepower with Infernape gone (Preferrably Heatran, 4x resistant to Ice and immunity to Sandstorm).

| All good ideas, I think that I will replace Gengars explosion with Energy Ball, and I would like to teach Aerodactyl Stealth Rock, but I dont have the TM. I also like the idea of Roost on Skarmory, but I dont have the TM for that either. If anyone can give me it I can trade a shiny forretress. I would like to keep Blaziken, though I prefer the higher damage Superpower gives compared to Skyuppercut. Ill consider the Agility on it, it could use the speed boost. The only other issue is the damage I would recive through Flareblitz, plus Blaze Kick has the high critical hit ratio to accompany its somewhat high power. I had never considered giving Tyranitar EV's in Def and SpD, but I like it. Thanks! | |

^your first bit of help Tommy Boy^ another bit of helpfulness you did on this RMT was start off the changes, I honestly had no idea how to help him from the start, you basically outlined the team, I just polished it up a bit, both of us helped him out Tommy Boy while I can't say why you started RMTs again, but Varment appriciates it, and I do too, it gave me an easier place to polish up from Monkey

| For your information, Thomas, I planned on (and will when I can) use some parts of the suggestions you made. I will not use them all, but hey, it is my team right? The problem is, I curenetly dont have all the TM's or shards I need to do them. I plan on making the changes as soon as I can. And anyway Prof. Monkey is right (from what I know he usually is about these sorts of things), that post you made: was uncalled for, and I AM using your suggestions. Sorry if I mislead you on that. On a positive note I found someone to trade me some of the TM's and will have yours and Monkey's suggestions being put into action ithin a few days. "Thanks, again". - Thomas wrote:

And really, Canadians dont live in snow all year round, and we dont actually say "eh" at the end of our sentences, and (can you even believe there are americans stupid enough to believe this) we dont ride polar bear to school (LOL ). No offence, but that IS what some americans think about us.
