pm notification

it's annoying how you pm someone and they never know it.

Yeah, i also agree. And the only time you get notifications, is if you refresh or go to a different page, which is rare for some people. Is there any other more...instant notification? Rather than saying 'pm' 'replied' 100 times in the cb?

I totally agree, on Smogon you get an alert right away after you get a PM. You can choose to view it right then, or view it later. Is this something that we can set up here?

I haven't seen an option like that anywhere in the Admin Pannel. I'll ask the Forumotion Owners/Users. The best I can say for now is you either have to refreash the page OR you can set your preferences, in the Profile area, to send you an e-mail when you get a PM...not sure if your e-mails have quick notification.
I'll get right to contacting Forumotion to get a correct answer.

Quite a lot of adware/pop up blocker security stops this unless it is given permissions though.

Actually , before i had yahoo chat set up on my computer, and it im's me/updated me every time i got an email. And if you set chimchar pm notifications to your email, it will update you, but idk if that still works.

it does but i dont think it notifies me of spam and i hate having a bunch of useless email in my inbox
