| According to the anime, it is. According to the games and natural features of Legendaries (usually strong, only one of them, etc.) it's not. So is this weird Hidden Power-er a Legend, or not? LOL Hidden Power Ice / Hidden Power Fighting / Hidden Power Psychic 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe This is an ingenious moveset spread across the ages, constructed piece by piece with painstaking care in the arching caverns and ancient machinery of the most devious and cunning hive mind in the history of anything. This moveset brings Unown's fullest potential into the light. His most powerful move, Hidden Power, rips through Magikarp, Hoppip, and Feebas with its unimaginable power, 2HKOing and OHKOing Magikarp and Hoppip with Hidden Power Ice, respectively. A neutral Hidden Power gives Feebas the ol' one-two-hit KO. When facing such opponents, Unown is unbeatable. As if this wasn't proof enough of Unown's superiority, Hidden Power Ice OHKOs Salamence. Transporting to prehistoric ages, Unown can 2HKO the powerful T-rex, Tyranitar, with Hidden Power Fighting. And going even higher up on the evolutionary ladder, Groudon is 2HKOed by Hidden Power Ice. -Smogon | |

LOL
The term "Legendary" can mean several things, although for the game's sake, this term is usually in relation to Pokémon of incredibley high and powerful stats; ones received toward end game if you will. Another term that can be taken from it is also "Pokémon of Legend" which the show mostly relys on and refers to Pokémon who are featured prominently in the legends of the Pokémon world. Other Pokémon of Myth Ninetales is occasionally considered a legendary Pokémon due to it being elusive, incredibly long-lived, and possessing the ability to cast powerful curses against anyone that touches its tails. This is specifically mentioned in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Arcanine's species classification is Legendary. The fierceness and destructive nature of Gyarados is described in the Pokédex as a thing of legend. Unown are referred to as legendary, probably because they were featured heavily in ancient myths and legends and because they can display large amounts of otherworldly power in swarms. So, is Unown a Legendary? Yes and No, depending on your view of the term of the word.

THANKS! You asked a question he answered it. Unown is legendary depending on the context of the situation. You really need to learn how to respond to people. Stop asking for others help and then bashing them.

| red, please stfu, you asked a question oak answered it, and the term legendary has nothing to do with titan, so before you go 'bashing' learn the terms.

| You guys are not getting what I'm saying. Sorry for going crazy before, but I'm saying in a competitive battle, those specific pokemon aren't legendary, so Unown isn't. Do you understand? | |
