Site Maintenance

Just to let you guys know, starting on Thursday, December 1^st I'll most likely lock up the site from logging in, viewing the site, and all that what not that I can do to have it for just me to view it and work on cleaning it up, redoing the forums, re-coding the portal, redoing the user groups and official wifi competitive battle system(aka: Gyms), ect.
I'll give you guys a webpage and the Xat Chat on the portal with updates to the 2 forum bets, Gym Leaders list, and so on and so forth.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause someone...but at the end of the day it'll be better for the forum. If I'm done on my work before the month's end...it'll be re-opened up early.

I have no problem with that. Sorry with my lack of attention towards the forums lately. Due to school work and illness this semester it has been rough.

So, wait, how long is this going to take? If I'm reading it right it should be about...a month?

I'm saying a 31 day month to give myself more than enough time. If I finish early it'll be less time...but no longer than a month. Expect a site-wide e-mail when it actually is done.

Change of plans. Forumotion wants to be a pain in my banana, again. It won't let me keep the site "under construction" for more than a few hours...so I'll keep it open while I do my work. I'll keep you guys updated here with what gets done.

First things first. Minor lack of activity means I'm "cutting down" the staff. 1 admin and 2 mods seems somewhat pointless. So for now there will be "no admins"(I have the powers for when we need it) and we'll have 3 Mods(Nips, Pat, and Maple) to help run the site.

Second order of business...the League is going over a mini overhaul. Simply put the 4th Generation Organized Competitive Play will use the old Gym System(8 badge for 8 mono-type Leaders...4 mono-type Elite 4 after that...and a Champion after that).
As for the 5th Generation Organized Competitive Play...we'll be bringing back an old idea. It'll be converted into a Battle Frontier. The Frontier will have 5 "Frontier Brains" who will each battle with a different battle strategy(ie: UU Battles, Mono-Color Battles, Roulette Battles, ect). The Challenge, for the time being, is the Challenger must abide by the rules the Brain is limited to.

I'm still changing the 5th Generation Gyms into the Frontier. For now, the Gym Leaders and Elite 4 will be allowed to try-out for the Frontier...but note if we get enough people interested in spots...you may be asked to choose one or the other.

Okay, so since the site is sorta dead stilll. What if people want to come and start up the site again but the site is down? You have to factor in that also.
