| Best birthday gift, by far, was from Domonic Brown. Before people ask me who the hell he is and what did he get me...I don't actually know him personally. He's a baseball player for my local Major League Baseball Team(the Phillies) and is also on my Fantasy Baseball team.
So for my birthday I got tickets to the Phillies game on May 31st(my birthdate). It was a disappointment to see them lose...but they did provide some offense. Domonic Brown hit 2 home runs tonight, batted in 4 of their 5 runs, and scored 2 of them himself. For the record Jimmy Rollins hit another home run.
But Domonic Brown has been the story for my Fightin' Phils as of late. The 25 year-old "bust" has had a rough start to his career. But that's another story for another time. The story for now is the power he has found, as of late. 12 home runs in May alone(15 on the season that leads the National League...3rd overall in the entire league). He's been exciting to watch and really starting to look like the player the team hyped him up to be.
