Hello Guest on Chimchar.

First off from all of us on the staff and site, let me say welcome. This is the one part of the forum, well two they can talk on the Xat in the portal, where guest may participate in forum activities. So feel free to post, vote, anything you want here to learn more about Chimchar. I please ask that guest, as well as members, follow all forum rule here. Click here to see the forum rules.
Next I'll briefly explain a little bit bout the forum. We are a peaceful community of pokemon battlers, traders, and fans. We welcome all people, who follow the rules, on the site and treat them fairly. Respect is the first rule here and should be shown by members, guest, and staff. We have some "user groups" on the site, which give certian members color to their name. I will explain these groups and the member's in the group's responsibilities. You can click the groups names below to view the group information/members.
Professors:
This is the group of knowlageable people on the forums. There are here to answer questions, give out a starter set, and "educate the pokemon nations". They also have their own "Lab" here, click here to see their labs. The current Professors are JLA of Kanto, Nips of Johto, Slow of Hoenn, and Monkey of Sinnoh. Contact Slowfreak about any Professor spots opening. There are currently no open spots.
Gym Leaders:
This is the group of good battlers on the forums. There are here to test your skills, show off the power of their type, and give worthy battlers a gym badge. Once someone defeats all 8 of the gym leaders, they can challenge our Elite 4. They also have their own Gym here, click here to see their gyms. The current Gym Leaders are Trever the Dark Leader, JLA the Fire Leader, Graham the Ghost Leader, Wind the Ice Leader, and Pat the Psychic Leader. Contact the gym leaders to challenge them for a badge. Contact Monkey if you'd like to become a Gym Leader, 4 current spots open.
Elite 4:
This is the group of elite battlers on the forums. There are here to test your skills, show off the power of their type, and see who is the best battlers on the site. Once someone as defeated all 8 of the gym leaders, they can challenge our Elite 4. If you defeat all 4, in a row, with the same team, you will be crowned as the Forum Champion. They also have their own Elite 4 page here, click here to see their pages. The current Elite 4 members are Varment the Flying Master Maple the Poison Master, and Nips the Water Master. There are no Elite 4 spots open. If one drops the strongest gym leader will take their place. Do not contact anyone about becoming an Elite 4 member.
Champion:
This is the group of best battlers on the forums. There are here to test your skills, show off the power, and lead our league. Once someone as defeated all 8 of the gym leaders, defeated our Elite 4, and beat the current Champion, they become Champion. You must use the same team and rules as the Elite 4 battles. They also have their own Champion page here, click herec to see their pages. The current Champion is Monkey. There are no other Champions, yet.
Moderators:
This is the group of members who keep the topics clean, keep members happy, and order on the site. They are the half of the staff who are incharge if an administrator is not present. The Moderators are Nips and JLA. There are no Moderator spots open. If we need a new Moderator, we will pick the best member for the job. Do not contact anyone about becoming a Moderator.
Administrators:
This is the group of members who run the site. They are the half of the staff who are incharge. The current Administrators are Monkey. There are no Administrator spots open. If we need a new Administrator, we will pick the best member for the job. Do not contact anyone about becoming an Administrator.
That is the basics of the site. If it seems like the right thing for you, join, make friends, follow the rules, and have fun.

So far everything looks great. However, I must know. How consistent are the people on here when it comes to posting? I like to be puntcual. If that is spelled correctly. Thank you.

Very often about 20 posts a day. And an active chatbox.

Monk I think he mentioned punctuation... lol so in that case some of us post like english teachers and some of us post like we're texting and some do both... We have a lot of different people here so we can't generalize for the entire forum. =P Ant thank you Agent Gi, I see you like our smilies? haha

mmmm.... less guest=more new users.
but alot of the new users post up an introduction or post in one topic and then forget pokemon and this site, which make them filler users

sorry for saying this but, we have less guest and members. more advertising should be made. and we could try and make the forums more interesting and more active during the day (talking about the Atlantic time day, its 1:20pm as i post this message)
