Brawl Leaders

i love this idea. if this group does get made i would like to tryout to be a toon link leader.

Sounds cool to me. Marth ftw (white armour of course).

when is this group going to be made? i really want to be a brawl leader.

Wouldn't there be too many leaders as there is too many characters. What about like, if its leader of a group or people from ssbb. like zelda ganandorf toon link and zelda or mario bowser luigi DK peach and yoshi

Why not just have 8 gym(brawl) leaders? 1 character from each game.

i disagree with what you said dino because there are 17 types of pokemon and only 8 gyms. with brawl we don't need a leader for every character only a few.

Theres alot more characters then there are pokemon types

i know but what i was trying to say is there are 9 pokemon types that don't have gyms. if we don't use all the pokemon types why would we use all the brawls characters. we should just have 8 brawl leaders like bea said.

Like in the game, the leaders have filler. Also there is a Elite4 too so like 12 types

my first thought on this is no, i dislike the idea of "Brawl Leaders", Professors...Elite 4...Gym Leaders...Prof. Aides...Gym Trainers...and even Pokemon Trainers are found in the pokemon games, there are no Brawl Leaders in any SSBB
HOWEVER, if the idea is passed, i'd say break the guys into groups, here are some ways you can do it:

A) four groups, four leaders, groups are Power, Speed, Balanced, and Skill(these groups are used in Mario Kart, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, ect.), it would break out as close to even as possible(at best 1 group is 1 short) and the Brawl leader can pick anyone from his/her gym to use, examples of group characters: Power-Bowser and DK ect., Speed-Sonic and Pikachu ect., Balanced-Mario and Link ect., and Skill-Ness and Olimir ect.

B) split the characters into 12 teams of 3(splitting up Zelda and Sheik), the teams would be united some how(like Ice Climbers, Olimir, and Pokemon Team is Team Numbers, or King Dedede, Ganondorf, and Bowser is team villans, or Samus, Fox and Falco are team Bounty Hunters, ect.) there would be 12 gyms each gym has a team and you get to use one of the three in your gym team

that's my ideas, each color is something different for you to think on(easier too see =D), feel free to not like my ideas, like them, or alter them a bit

I like the second idea of Monkey's, as well as the division by game. My only questioning about that idea (Monkey's) is that 12 leaders would be hard to come by seeing as there aren't more then 15 people who play brawl here.

we should just have 4 or 5 leaders. that way not everyone who plays brawl is a leader. and those leaders should be able to pick more than one character to be a leader with. i don't like the group idea because you may be good with kirby for example but suck with meta-knight or who ever kirby will be in a group with. if you sucked with one character it would be an easy win for the challenger.

@Drew, it was just a thought i had, me and my bro made "clubs" of 3 guys in Melee, so i typed out for you guys to fiddle with
i still think we need to work on the groups we have now to ensure that they don't fail first...like a full E4 with 8 gyms, and like a gym trainer or 2 per gym

Why not a mario kart wii leader too then (no sarcasm) wish we had more mario kart wii stuff here and we have the same amount of people with mkw i think.

Since people want this to happen, we will start it up as soon as we can get people in the group. Any ideas for who and how people should be admitted?

-first we need a set of basic rules for the leaders(like the one's Caitie posted)
-make certian guy(s) you can pick from(like gym leaders have a type)
-we need to pick a number of "badges"
-the 2-4 best become testers and test people out(similar to gyms)
