I have noticed many people saying that a Pokemon cannot get a move as an egg move UNLESS it is in Serebii's list. WRONG.
A Pokemon can inherit ANY move that it can learn (By Egg, TM, Or Level-up).
Snatching this from another place:
The Benefits of Breeding:
There are many good reasons to breed pokemon. For one, breeding can allow you to get more starters and other non-legendary "one-of" pokemon. Breeding can help you get the exact nature you want for a pokemon. Breeding lets you to start with a pokemon at a very low level, allowing you to pick and choose its level-up moves without relying on the Move Tutor. Parent pokemon can pass on some of their IVs to its offspring, so if you have a pokemon with exceptional ability scores, you can make more. But probably the most common reason for breeding is for inherited moves. Through breeding, it is possible to recieve a pokemon with moves it would never learn on its own.
The Gender Contribution:
The Male pokemon is the only one that can pass on moves.
The Female pokemon determines the species of the offspring, and (in Emerald) can determine the Nature of the offspring if it is holding an Everstone.
Both parents can pass on a random Individual Value to the offspring. In Emerald, the same IV cannot be passed by both parents (for example, the offspring could not inherit the Attk IV from both parents.) In previous games, this led to weaker pokemon due to the fact that one stat would overwrite the other.
If you breed two of the same species, the offspring has a higher chance of inheriting the female's ability.
Inherited Moves:
Inherited moves can be learned only from the father with one exception.
There are three kinds of inherited moves - true egg moves, inherited TMs, and inherited level-up moves.
True egg moves are moves the pokemon cannot learn through TM or level up. They must be bred onto the pokemon from a completely different pokemon family in the same egg group. Each pokemon has a set list of available egg moves. If the move you're looking for isn't one of these moves, then you cannot teach a move this way. This is the most commonly sought kind of inherited move.
Inherited TMs come from any TM move the father knows and the offspring can learn via TM. This works even if the father didn't learn the move from a TM, so long as it is one of the TM moves.
Inherited level-up moves are a special case. To learn one, both the mother and father must know the move, and it must be a move they can both learn by level-up. Using this method, you concievably could hatch a Heracross that knows Megahorn at level 5.
Ditto:
In breeding, Ditto is an invaluable tool. The proverbial "love machine", Ditto can breed with any non-legendary, non-baby pokemon.
Ditto has its own breeding group (Ditto), which is compatible with all others except None(cannot breed).
For purposes of breeding, Dittos fill in any gap.
When breeding, a Ditto never produces another Ditto (even if it is in the female role).
A Ditto pairing always produces an offspring of the non-Ditto parent.
Ditto cannot pass or inherit any moves.
A male pokemon breeding with a Ditto will pass on moves as usual.
In Emerald, Ditto can also influence Nature by holding an Everstone.
A Ditto can even breed with pokemon such as Metagross and Starmie (which have no gender). These pokemon are actually members of Egg groups (Mineral and Water3, respectively) but cannot breed with other members of their egg groups due to their lack of gender. Genderless pokemon cannot pass or inherit any moves.
