In the Halls

Man... that would be pretty embarrassing if you had to sing that in front of your class because you were late. I believe we should have longer passing periods. The other day I was late to one of my classes and got a detention. I had to get a ride from my mom and she wasn't to happy about it.

I believe this because I do not think we have enough time in between classes to get ready. This might be do to the massive amounts of people in the hallways. I have to be in a "mall sale line" just to get to my locker. Then when the music sounds, all the kids mass in the 200 hall. Stopping my attempts to make it to class on time.

Some other kids I notice also have a few problems getting to class on time. It might be that they are freshmen, but I also see sophomores and even some juniors having troubles.

The problem is kids are coming into class late. This could be because kids socialize and maybe want to be late. Others are late because the passing period is to short. Some suggestions I've heard about are make the school halls bigger, but I'm not to sure that would happen.

What I think should be done is the passing period time should be increased by one to two minutes. I don't think this time should be added on to school. The classes would only lose one minute each. Not that big of a deal in my opinion.
