Uber Clause: No UBERS ALLOWED (see TIER list)

Species Clause: You may not have more than one of the same exact Pokemon on your team. Also, try to refrain from using a whole team of the gym leaders weakness as this gives an unfair advantage.

Sleep Clause: No two pokemon can be asleep in a team at the same time (not counting self induced sleep).

Item Clause: That means you may use more than one of the same item. NO luck items Ex. quick claw

Evasion Clause: Moves that increase evasiveness or lower your opponent's accuracy are banned (it makes the game about luck)

OHKO Clause: No OHKO moves (Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, etc.) Also make the game about luck.

Self KO Clause: This is rare but necessary, if you and your opponent are on your last pokemon do not use moves like Explosion to induce a draw.


Hack Clause : No Hacks Gym Leaders have the right to trade if they suspect you have hacks.If you do not accept then you will not be awarded a badge.

Those Rules Are B.S. They are there to prove you cant take on Ever team.

Actually Dr. House if you disobey those rules it shows you have no skill and you have to use someones weakness to defeat them

or its could the gym leader has no skill because he doesnt know how to cover his weakness....

I agree 110% with paper. Gym leaders should learn how to overcome weaknesses by building their team around covering those weaknesses. Rules like that are ridiculous, in my opinion the standard rules, should be the rules.
