GSC..... i just don't get.

.Okay, why the hell does everyone think GSC is the best Pokegame ever? Look, isn't this what makes up a Pokegame:

-Crime Syndicates
-Legendary Interaction
-Diffuculty from height of levels
-Gyms and Elite Four
-Length

Crime Syndicates in GSC? Okay, seriously: Neo Team Rocket? Hm... what crime syndicate was THAT inspired from...?
Legendary Interaction? Okay, you have to admit, both Ho-Oh and Lugia in both games are kinda cool, and definitly the roaming pokemon, but legendary interaction in these old games is obsolete due to the modern gaming, I bet in HG/SS it'll be cooler...
Diffuculty? lvl 40 elite four? wow.....
gyms and elite four: too easy.
length: because it was so short, they smashed RBY and put the remaining cords in the game to make the game longer and stupider.

They should fix the levels, and the legendary interaction in HG/SS, but other than that... pbbbllt in my opinion.

it had cool things like the bug catching contest
also it has a lot more pokemon then the first two
also i think a lot of people liked the me starters and Legionaries
all that stuff made the game very popular
but the biggest thing was most likely the red gyarados

i personally like gsc's legendary pokemon, they put a perfect amount of legends in it. i think D/P put way to many legendarys in the game.

Being able to go to Kanto, fighting Red, cool starters, it's just cool.

its just my 2 favorite (i like silver better than gold but still) i dont really have or need a reason they are just my favorite they are the best

here's my thoughts on your points Twitchy:

Crime Syndicates-if i recall correctly it was just plain old Team Rocket, not Neo Team Rocket, only real difference being that the Mask of Ice thing, but anywho, i don't have any problem with Team Rocket reviving themselfs at all, I acually like their revival, no problems here

Legendary Interaction-again i like the old school way of legandary pokemon, only 5 in the whole game, 3 of them you need to hunt down, that makes acually seeing a rare pokemon that more special, the pokemon interaction i am going to have a problem with(assuming the game is the same) is the Red Gyarados, 9/10 teams are gonna have a Shiny Gyarados after this game, some of my thoughts on this, it takes away the rare factor for all of those who worked hard to get a shiny Gyrados and RED GYARADOS IS F-EN UGLY TO ME! i prefer a good ol' blue one, personally i think you should chill it down then Lance or someone takes it(you battle it later in the Champion Battle), so 9/10 teams don't have it...or give him a shitty nature, lol

Diffuculty from height of levels-it was a bit low for the elite 4, but that was only so you weren't jacked up for the Kanto part(witch could have been better), personally i think make the E4 go up to 60's range(first battle) and make you "start over" like Ash did in the anime, Oak gives you a new starter and your old pokes are unable to be used until Mt. Silver(kindof a second in-game play)

Gyms and Elite Four-as i said before, higher levels wouldn't hurt and revamping Kanto, everyone likes it, but i think it was poorly executed, and the rival(right before E4) might be a bit weak the first time through because he'll use Sneasel and Magnaton(both now with Evolutions), AND keep

Length-the first half had a nice length to it, Kanto seemed to drag on with no Team Rocket and all they gyms being a similar level and all that jazz, they need to make Kanto more worth the time, so add Team Rocket(maybe add a double battle with your Rival and have him talk about his dad Giovanni and a double battle with Lance to make Team Rocket worth the time) and change up the gyms and it should be fine

i guess that's my rant for the day

Alright, I still think FRLG is the best.

Crime Syndicate: Good ol' Team Rocket.
Legendary Interaction: The spicy dogs add something cool.
diffuculty: hardest till plat came out. good for meh
gym +elite four: teenagers who played rby get a sense of refreshment, or little kids notice brock and misty from the anime. plus the elite four is really challenging.
Length: ruby, sapphire and islands are amazingly interesting.

And the EV, IV, and breeding, + migrating, are just kickass.

add wifi (which is easy by migrating your team, or trading to emerald, cloning, and then migrating and use that for wifi) would pwn any pokemon game.
