Welcome to the home page of Chimchar Battle Tower.
The Chimchar Battle Tower will be run every fortnight on Saturday. The rules are fairly simple, look below. Please take time to read the rules because they are not the usual and PM if you think there is anything I should change. Click on 'Spoiler:' to see what rules are etc.Rules- Spoiler:
- Team Clause: You must only have 3 Pokemon as standard in the Pokemon battle, for pretty obvious reasons.
- Tier Clause: No Ubers, because they are overused and are too strong, so they are cheap.The Tier List is from Chimchar forums, go to this link
- Species Clause: You cannot have two or more of the same pokemon, because it can be cheap like having 3 garchomps on the same team (Just an example). Jazz it up a little and make it interesting.
- Self KO Clause: If both players are on their last Pokémon, and one player performs a Self KO technique such as Self-Destruct or Explosion, and both players' Pokémon faint as a result, the player that initiated the move will be the loser of the battle. This does not include techniques or items that produce recoil.
- Evasion Clause: Any moves that increase your Pokémon’s evasion skills are banned from use. This is due to the simple reason that it brings the battles to a gamble, a luck draw, if you will.
- One Hit KO Clause: Any techniques that produce a One Hit KO on the opponent are banned from use. No horn drill, sheer cold, or fissure.
Keep in Mind: The use of any hacked Pokémon is strictly forbidden. This means Pokémon created by Pokesav or any other cheating devices even with legit stats are not allowed. If you are caught with any hacked Pokémon, your team is subjected to being banned for a certain period of time. If you refuse, an inspection of your team by an admin or moderator to check for hacked Pokémon will ensue. Or, if you are caught lying to an admin or moderator, a strict punishment will be enforced upon you.
Make sure your Pokémon are legitimately obtained before using them. If you got your Pokémon in the GTS, check them using IV calculators. Or, if you don’t completely trust yourself, ask an admin or moderator to engage in a trade – not for Pokémon, but to check the stats of your Pokémon to see if they are legitimate. Having no “legit” Pokémon available is no excuse, even highly competitive legitimate Pokémon are not that hard to obtain.
Note: Any team participating on this tournament level is subject to inspection of their Pokémon by CHIMCHAR staff at any time. If you cuss, or treat any member of the forum badly, you are subject to a ban for an appropriate amount of time.
If a player claims that their opponent have a hacked pokemon, refer to an elder, or me to check and trade to see if it is hacked. If you leave straight after victory when your opponent claims that you hacked, you will have to auto forfeit, therefore moving him/her to the next round.Battle Tower Shop
This is where you can trade your battle points for Pokemon. Please PM for any ideas of Pokemon people would want to win, and I will try my best to put it up there. If you have any Pokemon that you think would be good, I could clone it.Battle Points- Spoiler:
So basically the battle points system goes as shown.
- The Tower Tycoon gets 2 points if he defeats the challeger, and +1 to every victory after that, e.g. Monkey is the Tycoon, he beat my a first time, +2 to his total, he beats me a second time +3 points to his total, etc.
- If the challenger defeats the Tycoon he gets +2 points to his total.
- Each time the Tycoon wins, the stakes get higher, so it doubles, e.g. Monkey was Tycoon for two weeks in a row so the stack doubles from the first week from +2 to +4, etc.
- Once the challenger defeats the Tycoon, he/she become Tycoon, until he/she is defeated.
I'm going to do an Opening Ceremony Tournament this week, and who ever wins it will become the first Battle Tower Tycoon. You have until Friday 26 of February to sign up and I will randomly put you up with someone. It will knock out until the last person appears. I will be giving you a certain date to have your battle before I automatically knock you out, so PM each other and think of a time to battle. The rules of the Tycoon Tournament to become the Tower Tycoon, are the exact same rules as above. So be prepared, and get ready to battle!Round 1- Spoiler:

Round One will start on Friday/Saturday. I made this fair by using the Pokemon Roulette app. Make sure you PM your opponent, and remember, you have 3 days to PM me your results!
