what is up with smogon? latias i don't agree with as uber and think its stupid but i can live with it. but now they want mence to be uber also! they can its to hard to coverage. i've never used mence on my team, but i have nvr had a problem killing it. x4 weakness to ice plus stealth rocks even if sumone wanted to put yache berry on it the thing would die, and if not die it would be dead the next turn.

Hence the Chimchar Tier idea. =) We can use Latias here, vote on Mence, and whatevs.

Latias doesn't have a 4x Weakness to Ice, its just 2x. Latias is Dragon/Psychic. Stealth Rock isn't 2x effective either.

Personally, I think we need to get more members/affiliation members before we approach getting a tier list. 40+ Active members per day is good.

I wanna know, why do we have to follow smogon? in the games you can use any pokemon and any team so, why cant you do it on sites?

good question basically for some reason smogon is the most popular site ever, probably cause serebii and bulbapedia use it also. and for that reason they get the power over everyone making there tier.

omg, there ruining pokemon, pokemon shouldnt be about these things, what about classic pokemon? they didnt have EV, IV, Natures, UBERS, UU, OU, etc! that was when it was fun and we didnt get so worked up and geeky about it. now and days, I just wish people would just level up their pokemon and stfu.

lol well back in the old days there were only 4 ubers mew,mewtwo, lugia, and ho-oh. and most people didn't have mew atleast where i lived. so ubers really didn't matter, now there r so many legends u could make a team of ubers that would overpower every thing else. so the uber tier is some what needed, but OU, UU, NU don't really matter to me i usually do standard OU battles using UU and NU pokes for the most part and do just fine.

"Back in the day" was Mewtwo and Glitch Mew, lol. I think Oaky said he entered a tourny back then...I think he said everyone used Mewtwo.Seeing the same shit over and over takes away from pokemon. All you would see would be Sun/Rain/Rayquaza(air lock) based teams all day. Anyone with half a creative team would be well over powered. Also no EVs, IVs, or natures means pokemon would be based off of base stats and typeage only. You'd 100% know their stats and what can KO in how many hits. Nintendo has it's own ban list for the battle tower and world tournaments. It varies from Smogon...but you need rules and regulations in the metagame to allow creativity to flurish.
That's all I got for a DSi rant. HOWEVER! We could impliment a 1 Ubers per team rule here if people would like.

why don't we have an uber tourney? it would go on forever xD or maybe a mix team, like the team you always carry though the game when not in wifi battles etc? that would be cool. ^^
