Chatbox!!!!

As we all know the chatbox is retarded yet again. It is also more often laggy and glitchy am I right? On many forums I've been to there has been a Portal which is added to the Bar near the top with Home FAQ Search Members Groups etc. In said portal you see the latest topics news announcements and more. Here comes the best part, www.xat.com is a place where we can get a new chatbox! the chatboxes are really easy to use and never lag. What do you guys think?

Well...i hope there is no portal...i cant access those on my work computer =(

so if a new portal is made and everyone goes there i'll be left all alone

We had a little argument about this 2-3 months ago or so.

As you see, almost everyone was against it. Drew also said that a chatbox in a portal would be confusing for new members. I like the chatbox we have even though it is glitchy at some points.

i agree with dingen, and for the record--those of you who said "new chatbox, but no portal", if we were to get a new chatbox, the only place to put it would be in a portal, so sorry, it's either new chatbox and portal or we keep it classic.

Well, I could encode a Xat chat box on the site but it would have to be in the header (where the Dizzler and Announcements are). I dont know if that is favorable though.

The Xat Chatbox sucks to me, but we do need a differ CB

i thought about that stallica, but it would just make the header really cluttered but idk.

can you still leave the chatbox on?

i don't think it would be a chatroom, the idea would be to get a code for a chatbox from a site like xat, and post it on the site.

im glad we got a new chatbox but it SUCKS!!!!! in my opinon its at the top and it just plain old sucks lol that is just my opinion

the new cbox isn't laggy which is good enough reason for me. Also how about we just use it as an alternative to when the regular cbox is lagging?

The Xat Chat sucks to me our CB is better

so do the CB mods still have their powers on the xat?

No they do not they must be re-modded on the xat chat which is simple really.......
