More gym Leaders

I think we should have more than 8 gym leaders. It'd give us more oppurtunities and attract more new ACTIVE members

8 is a good number, we just need to make sure all of them are active and can go one wifi, even in school
we've had 2 months after summer to get our acts together, so time to enfore a 1 week ACTIVELY BATTLEING rule, in my opinion

i agree, we should have a more strict online rule for leaders...they attract most of our new members (along with other things)

No offense Monk but I've been noticing that you really want to be a gym leader and that's causing you to try and sway the opinion of the chimchar members just because we have all the gym leaders and you want in, first the non wi-fi battling thing and now this. No offense but this seems bias to me I voted no because barely anyone is battling the gym leaders as it is, plus we should have the same number of gym leaders as the game because it feels better, more legit, and more official.

I'm not going to start an argument, but it's not because of me. Most members join pokemon sites to be a gym leader, and our system just makes people turn away from our site and become inactive.

True, there aren't enough active gym leaders, and I know people have lives and everything, and I certainly wouldn't want any Johnny Jackoff to think that he can be a gym leader just by putting together a mono type team.

You do have to be pretty good to be a gym leader, TOUGH!!

Take it from the anime, in the show, its clear that one is able to obtain more than 8 badges in one region (Gary Oak, for example, had 10 badges from kanto). It is only required though, that a trainer obatin 8 to participate in the indigo league or battle the elite 4.

I like the idea of more gym leaders, active gym leaders, because there will be more chances for badges, more mono type availabilites...

if we ever get an elite 4 here, you'd only have to get 8 badges to battle them, but then you could still go on to earn more.

See, in teh anime...they travel to different regions. Each having its set of 8 badges.

So there are more than 8.


Plus, if we give out starters for every region, why not leaders from ever region?

personally i would prefer this to an elite four. when we had an elite four previously, we never had a single challenger, more gym leaders, more activity, more activity, win. it's up to you guys, but i do believe that there are some good battlers here who aren't a gym leader.

Good thinking. Maybe have all like the gym leaders. and maybe do that for a while until we get mroe challengers. and if they are high enough, MAYBE make an elite four?

I suppose the amount of fairly active members we have now just aren't enough, I'd say wait until winter break to start real plans about oak's and other plans

With the more active members thing say we have 300 members no more no less what number and in turn a percentage do you think we need active? i say 100% but that's never gonna happen so if we want 16 gym leaders we need at least 18 to be gyms and admin staff after that we need ordinary members....we'll say 17 per staff member of any type gives us exactly 306 members absolutely brilliant management and we can add gym leaders as we add members.


if you had trouble following the above maths and logic reread it then post your problem.

Why do we need more gym leaders?
It was hard enought to get 8. and now you want more.The once that want more gym leaders don't want to be gym leaders them self.

i wanna be a gym leader so do a lot of people but gym leaders are like mods they're staff members who keep us in line and stop people from spamming in the cb they haven't got the same privileges as mods but the have similar auhority to mods. More members needs more gyms and staff to shut them up.

I suppose the tournament for e4 will begin with an admin's consent...or not

i said more gym leaders so we can have better control of the spammers and only as members increase the gyms increase.

being a gym would be good but i don't give a flying saucer because i can battle anyone anytime gym leader is just a title that carries authority here i could get up and leave this site tomorrow!

Well. People who control spammers is called administrators and moderators. I like the idea of several gym leaders,
but the fact that you dont seem to care about their skill level, makes me kind of dont want them anymore.

If you want more people to control spammers, ask the staff and we will look on it and maybe add more mods and admins.
