Can you be a gym leader of pokemon only from level 60-70? something like that? (obviously with a specific type) Smile

a gym leader can have any pokemon with the type of gym leader he/she chooses.
example.
a dark gym leader can use houndoom and tyranitar.

Just because you defeat a Gym Leader doesn't mean you automatically should take their spot. Gym Leaders spend a lot of time raising one certain type of Pokémon, not to mention they know what Pokémon to use and how to use them.
Gym Leaders are only allowed to use one type, so of course you can defeat them if you bring a well balanced team. That being said, you can't be a Gym Leader if you do not have one type, as in this quote-

Yes, indeed. Your Pokémon do not need to be of any specific level, as all battles are done on Wifi Lv 100 anyway. Just make sure your EV training is done, all desired moves are reached and full evolutions.
Some of my Pokémon on my Bug team are barely passed lv 15.

If the Pokémon has 2 types, one of those types has to match with your Gym team's theme.
Again, all my Gym team is Bug, but some of them have a duel type, like Bug/Rock, Bug/Fighting, Bug/Steel, Bug/Flying, Bug/Ghost

As prof oak succinctly stated, you can use any pokemon in the game as long as they are not ubers, not hacked, and are of the type of gym you want to apply for.

Well, I'm Thunderbolt, at first I wanted to be an Electric type gymleader...
But now I'm gonna go for Steel (mainly because of Heatran (you can use him right?))...

I'm not sure about Battle Tower but yes you can use them becuase they are not Ubers.

go to "pokemon discussion" and u will see "official tiers list". anything that is not on the uber list can be used in battles.
so heatran and registeel can be used
