[Official Tournament 1] The Reckoning

Hi guys. This is Chimchar Forum's first official tournament. The rules stats in Tournament Rules thread will be applied here so please check that out before you apply. I'll reiterate these rules again:

1. If you decide to sign up for a tournament, YOU MUST BE ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING. Don't decide to join the tournament and not plan to play at all. This ruins the point of the tournament and also causes delays. So please be sure that if you sign up for a tournament that you stick to it.
2. When you sign up, leave your name, and Friend Code in a post so that the hoster does not have to search for it
3. Report results of the tournament in the Tournament thread so the hoster can update the brackets

In addition to these rules, there are others that apply. Due to the recent wifi disconnections, if the battle disconnects between you and your opponent, the person with more pokemon wins the match. This may seem like an unfair rule but I cannot do anything about wifi and cant make it more fair than that.

No hacked pokemon or Ubers will be allowed in this tournament. You may be familiar with the Gym Leader standard rules, and they will be applied here as well.

1. No ubers, no hacked pokemon
2. You cannot have more than one of the same pokemon on your team
3. No more than 2 pokemon can be put to sleep by opponent on either team
4. NO OHKO moves (guillotine, sheer cold, fissure)
5. No moves can be used to increase evasion or decrease opponents accuracy
6. NO LUCK ITEMS -- This includes brightpowder, focus band, quick claw, and enigma berry
7. No more than 1 focus sash allowed
8. if you are on your last pokemon and you use explosion, you lose the game

If you want to sign up for this tournament, you must be active, so please leave your name and friend code in subsequent posts below. You may have noticed that there is a new rank called "Tournament Champion" below. The winner of this tournament will receive that title. Only one person may have it. (I know that I'm in that spot right now but every group needs a moderator so I chose to be it. A new person will be chosen to take that place when the Tournament is over)

The tournament will commence when there are a good number of people willing to participate. Any questions PM me.
