Latias OU or Uber

i noticed Latias was put into Uber but from what there was in the other thread u can't really tell what the people wanted on here and i know some people either wanted latias to stay OU or UBER they just didn't have anything else to add so now lets all vote on what we want.

Latias should be NU.
In all srsness, let's have Latias in Uber because over the DS I don't think there's any reliable method to check for Soul Dew or not. I could also be wrong.

OU, it is Outclassed by Latios in ubers and is honestly not too strong for OU

u r absolutely wrong first of the only way u would doubt it is if it doesn't have leftovers which is the most common item put on next to specs, if u really think they r using soul dew request trade after the battle to check. so u can't check in battle but u can check after the battle if u really care.

Latias is OU, it has been decided on by chimmies.

lol well the only time it would really matter if its a competitive battle, and if they d/c u can challenge it and u would at least win for a rematch, especially if u have the evs on it u can use a damage calculator to calculate the damage so if u really care it can be found out.

How would you have the EV's of the opposing Pokemon?

I love how everybody is so against the placement of Latias into Ubers. I'd probably debate better if I actually knew how to battle. xD

7 if you don't know how to battle then this is implying that you don't battle a lot perhaps? In which case, why would you care if Latias was OU? Also if you don't battle a lot and don't know how, then you might not know how to counter a Latias...

Let's get this straight. I'm an incredibly incompetent battler, so my saying it should be Uber should come as a surprise because the logical choice of incompetence is Latias, in more ways than one. The simplest way I can think of to counter Latias is Latias, which defeats the purpose, however, I am aware that there are other methods to defeat it, although an implementation of such proves to be impossible for me. I certainly do not battle a lot, thank you for mentioning it. I do know the very basics of competitive battling...prediction, synergy, and the like. So why do I care? Well, here's a question back at you; why do you need Latias on your team?

Latias would be outclassed as a Sweeper by Mewtwo, Darkrai, Latios and sometimes Kyogre.
As a Wall it is outclassed by Blissey, Lugia, Kyogre, and Giratina.

But Latias is Bulky and can take a few hits, along with a good movepool, making it a mix of a wall and a sweeper at a same time, which is really useful.

Who cares about movepool when you have 871 SpA after Calm Mind and the highest Spe in Ubers at a kickass 359, even at Modest Nature, and all you really need is Calm Mind, Aura Sphere, Ice Beam, and Thunder? I'm not saying Latias wouldn't work in Ubers, I'm just saying Mewtwo laughs at it and tells it to go back fighting Infernape.

Dude, Latias carries Soul Dew in ubers its a free Calm Mind already makes it so much easier to set up to wall a sweep. YOU LOSE! GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD! Latias can be used in both ubers and OU get over it. Nothing you can do about it or say to make people change their mind.
