Termination Tournament - Varment4444

Welcome to the Termination Tournament!!

This is my first tournament ever, good luck to all that join.
Theme: Schwartzenagger Terminator Robot.

2nd Place - (or 1st place loser)

Impish Skarmory @ lvl 42 (this was my first RNG breed ever)
IVs: 17 HP/22 Atk/26 Def/6 Sp Atk/21 Sp Def /18 Spe
EVs: 252 HP/ 200 Def/ 56 Sp Def
Moves: Stealth Rock, Spikes, Roost, Rock Slide.

3rd Place -
A smack, and a kick in the @$$ for becoming the second best loser.

Unusual Rules:

• Three members of your team must share a type. Example of a team: Skarmory, Lucario, Scizor, Blissy, Sceptile, Swampert. (Three pokemon share the Steel type)
  
• At least one member of your team must be part Steel type to match the Terminator robot theme.
  
• No UBER pokemon, all other teirs are allowed.
  
• The only status condition allowed is Paralyze, Robots cant be Poisoned, Burned, or put to Sleep. You may inflict one of these on yourself via Toxic Orb etc but you can not inflict apon your opponents pokemon. NOTE: Moves that give status change via added effect like Discharge ARE allowed.
  
• Anyone that violtes the rules will be immediatly disqualified.
  

In addition the following rules apply (standard):

•Species Clause: You may not have more than one of the same exact Pokémon on your team. This does not mean that using a team of all dragon/ground will be permitted against something like an Electric team. DON'T BE CHEAP and use doubles of each type if you can avoid it.

•Sleep Clause: No two Pokémon on either team may be put to sleep by their opponent at the same time. This does not include self-induced sleep techniques such as rest.

•Self KO Clause: If both players are on their last Pokémon, and one player performs a Self KO technique such as Self-Destruct or Explosion, and both players' Pokémon faint as a result, the player that initiated the move will be the loser of the battle. This does not include techniques or items that produce recoil.

•Evasion Clause: Any moves that increase your Pokémon’s evasion skills are banned from use. This is due to the simple reason that it brings the battles to a gamble, a luck draw, if you will.

•One Hit KO Clause: Any techniques that produce a One Hit KO on the opponent are banned from use. No horn drill, sheer cold, or fissure.

•Item Clause/Restriction is OFF: That means you may use more than one of the same item. Just try to refrain from six focus sashes.


The tournament will begin as soon as we have 8 members so hurry and sign up before spots fill up!! You will have 5 days to complete your battle or conatct the other person you are battling. I will decide if you pass through by dq or not, just tell me the circumstances.

DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU DO NOT LOG ON TO CHIMCHAR ON A REGULAR BASIS!!! YOU ONLY MESS UP THE TOURNAMENT IF YOU ARE NOT UPDATED OFTEN.

Arrange a Battle and PM me the results. I will tell you when, and who with, your next battle will be if you win your first round. (I will PM you the next step if you win)

If you do not get a response within 7 days of contacting your opponent (or if you dont battle within 7 days) your opponent is disqualified. There may be some rule bending here under extreme circumstances. Good Luck Everyone

Wow that is a hell of alot to follow

you don't have to get approved to make a tournament, but what the hell, I'm Monkey and I approve this tournament =P
not too many rules, basically a mono-type(with 3 fillers) team, 1 steel type needed, and the only status you can inflict on a foe is Paralize...this takes away the need/use of Sleep Clause
feel free to host it if you can get the members, count me in though, I've been looking for a new Special Luke for my Fighters =P

I didn't mean to be cocky. About 75% of our battles I beat Nicole, however, she is better with steels than I am. So I run my odds down to 65%. I'd bet on a 65%.

Does that mean you are dropping out and letting Dark Abyss get a free pass into round 2? If so that is fine, if you would still like a copy of a prize we can negotiate a trade.

WARNING!!

If battles are not completed by the end of the weekend (Sunday night) or I have not been contacted with the information that you could not get ahold of the other person (meaning they are disqualified) then the tournament will procede without you.

Nicole is compltely right!! If nobody PM's me results in before tomorow (Wed.) night then the battle between Nicole and Dark Abyss will count as the finals.
