Chaining problem

I was chaining Shinx for Atk EV's and my chain broke from a Shinx it was weird, why did it break from the pokemon i was chaining?

ah! i know why!
whenever your chaining your looking for the same pokemon, right?, well when there are no shinx in the area the chain breaks, this is VERY VERY annoying and i hate it, but it happens. a way to avoid this (for some reason) is to not go to patches of grass next to trees, people, yourself and other wiggling patches of grass, if all the patches of grass are next to trees, people, yourself and other wiggling patches of grass, then walk around and charge your pokerader agian WITHOUT going out of the grass or your chain shall EXPLOAD (break)
