| It has come apparent to me that people are 'abusing' PM's. Caitie gave us a warning last time she took them away but no one(with a few exceptions) listened to her. The PM's were a privilage that we have NOT a right. Privilages should be lost when abused, witch the PM's are. People are using them to break the rules without the admins and mods knowing. I've sat back and watched you kids break the rules enough! So in my opinion we don't earn PM's, at least not for the time being. Please post replies on what you think.

| i disagree monkey,
i think pm's should stay so u can still send urgent stuff to people when they are offline but if anyone is advertizing, which ever persons recieves the pm should tell a admin or a mod right away and get that person ban | |

| we can also disable people's individual PM privileges, which would be much better then ridding them all together. | |

| I agree with Drew but for some reason it's always members I've never seen b4 so idk if they just make an account to advertise and they don't care if they get banned or if they for some reason don't know the rules yet... but anyways I think it's a BIG step to take away EVERYONES pm's just because a select few have disobeyed the rules. | |

| Why do you want the PM's gone? If there gone how will anyone tell you anything you arent even online a lot. and some things you have to PM to people, if you cant Pm you might as well make a topic about what you are talking about | |

| i'm just saying, Caitie noticed the problem of advertizing by PM's, got fed up with it, i've noticed the problem with advertizing by PM's, got fed up with it, others have noticed it and Drew you can ban the people that you catch BUT people will get sneakier, and we'll never be able to stop them all, unless we ban everyone's PM's if you and someone have a good friendship and need to be contacted, i suggest you extange e-mails the polls show that people want the PM's so good luck with people advertizing

| There is no use in disabling Private Messaging if one can publicly ask for a different method of contact. It is the fault of the members for having minds of gossip and rule breaking, not the Private Messaging system itself -- deal with the members, not the PMs. | |
